In case you have no idea what St. Patrick's Day celebrates - I'm going to give a brief history lesson (with much thanks to Google!).
St. Patrick's Day commemorates when Christianity was introduced to Ireland and also celebrates the Irish culture as a whole. The name comes from the patron Saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. The three-leaved shamrock was used by Saint Patrick to explain the Holy Trinity. The color green has been worn on St. Patrick's Day since the late 1600s!
Now that WE know a little more about this holiday, let's celebrate!
